Fencing is a great sport. It combines coordination, speed, agility, and self confidence.
The Burke AC fencing program focuses on the sabre. The sabre requires accurate use of both the point as well as understanding and training on how to use the edge of the blade.
The program is $75 plus a $25 equipment rental fee ($100 total). The club can provide a jacket, mask and sabre for each lesson. Students will need to bring their own glove or can purchase one from the club for $8.
The program is open to those born on or before October 1, 2002 (typically in third grade or older). Adults may participate as well.
