Dutch Vision Coaching Workshop

Burke Athletic Club and the Chris Nedelcovych Soccer Foundation, this year along with the Fairfax Police Youth Club, are pleased to have K.N.V.B. coach Tino Stoop return to build on his successful 2007 workshop. This year Tino will focus on the u11 & u12 age groups and their use of 8v8 as a stepping-stone to the 11 a side game. He will cover both training and match phases  of the game.

Tino is known for his work in developing the Dutch Circuit curriculum and authoring the K.N.V.B.’s official books on youth development. The Dutch Vision is known as one of the worlds best youth education philosophies and is referenced in U.S. Soccer’s ‘Best Practices’ Document as a primary source. This document is the basis for coaching education in America and the workshop is a great opportunity to learn first hand from someone with intimate knowledge of what the Dutch Vision means.

Each coach will receive a copy of Tino’s Coaching Under 12’s which comes with it’s own interactive CD.

Where: Fairfax Police Youth Club, John Rusert Club House Providence Park, West Dr., Fairfax City, VA.

When: July 22, 23, 24 & 25. 6:00-7:30 on the field. (Tino will work with a group of youth players.) 8:00-9:30 in the F.P.Y.C. clubhouse. (Tino will conduct a review of the session and answer questions.)
